Pepper chicken
Ingredients:
Chicken – 1 kg cut into small pieces
small Pearl Onions – 20 No. (sliced)
Ginger – 2″ piece chopped
Garlic – 4 chopped
Green chillies – 4 slit
Curry leaves – 2 sprigs
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Garam masala/Kitchen King Masala – 1 tsp
Pepper powder – 2 tsp
Vinegar – 2 tbsp
Salt – to taste
coconut oil / Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
Coriander leaves - a small bunch ( washed and chopped)
Method:
1.Heat oil in a pan and add onions, ginger, garlic, green chillies and curry leaves.
2.Fry till the onions turn golden brown.
3.Add turmeric powder and garam masala / kitchen king masala.
4.Then add the chicken pieces.
5.Mix well and cook covered till done.
6.Open the lid and add salt,Vinegar and pepper powder.
7.Mix well and simmer for another 2 minutes till the gravy is thick.
8.If you want more gravy add 1 cup water and boil for 5 minutes.
9.Sprinkle the chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
