Ingredients:
1 cup chickpea flour(Besan)
3/4 tsp salt
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/4tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp garam masala
1/4 tsp cumin seeds
Handful of chopped coriander leaves
6 bread slices
Oil for frying
Method:
1. Slice the crusts off the bread.
2. Mix together Chickpea flour,salt,red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala,cumin seeds, coriander leaves in a bowl.
3. Add enough water to make a thick batter which will coat the bread slices.
4. Add tablespoon by tablespoon of water to avoid thin batter.
5. Dip one slice in the batter and coat both the sides.
6. Deep fry them in oil till light brown .
7. Serve hot with your favourite chutney.
Tips:
1. You will get the best results with a bread that is a day or two old
2. You can use the crusts of bread to make bread crumbs.
3. You can make the stuffed bread pakora also with leftover potato sabji.
